Cosmiclume and the Hive Collective

A women’s sacred arts collective that creates art as a gateway into an immersive experience. Creating interactive environments, layering lush physical art with performers, inviting participants to partake in the ritual theater, re-inventing themselves as gods/goddesses. We were awarded: Burning Man Honorarium Grant Project in 2019, and the LoveBurn art grant in 2022.

I created a textural altar environment, dripping with vintage lace, and clothing that represents different stages of feminine lifetimes. People from all over the united States donated different upcycled fabrics and dresses, both modern and vintage, to be woven into the walls of 2 large mobile temples. With in these temples there are large Interactive non-denominational Altars honoring the feminine.

“The BEYOND Pop-Up Art Gallery is a donation entry immersive and hands-on art exhibition on the Ithaca Commons. The gallery features work from 30 local artists with exhibits ranging from a 12-foot tall rideable unicorn to unique and interactive video games.” Ithaca Times
